Maricar 2017-08-09 07:46:06

Darby 2017-07-28 02:07:57

If you need a ₱ in Excel as a stand-alone item, say at the head of a column of figures, you will have to create it in Word and then copy&paste to Excel.
If you want to use the symbol in a cell containing a number:
1. Right-click on the cell and select "Format Cells" from the drop-down menu.
2. Select "Currency".
3. Click in the "Symbol" bar.
4. Scroll down till you find "₱ English (Philippines)" and "₱ Filipino", and select one. (They do not appear to differ, and I always use the Filipino one myself).
5. Click on OK and you're done!

If you want the peso sign in your excel/photoshop, just open MSWord, hold alt-key and then press 8,3,6,9 (while still holding alt). Copy the peso sign then paste to your cell in excel / type tool (edit mode) in photoshop.

Bill Mina 2016-09-03 06:14:54

Fail-proof way is to bring up Character Map by clicking on the Win icon on the taskbar or by pressing the Win-key and start typing Character Map. The moment you see the Character Map desktop app press enter.

On Character Map, put a check on 'Advanced View' box and in the 'Search For' type peso. Click on 'Select' and 'Copy'. Paste it on whatever application you want like Word or Excel and presto! It will even paste on Notepad.
